The NSRI Fellows program serves as the institute's primary campus engagement strategy, aiming to amplify the university’s research contributions to the DOD and other federal agencies with national security missions by engaging leading researchers from each of the four NU campuses.
Arten previously worked as an analyst in new business processing, compliance and training for Allstate Insurance as well as over a decade in retail sales and brand ambassadorship.
Arten holds a master’s degree in integrated media communications and a bachelor’s degree in theatre performance, both from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
