The National Strategic Research Institute at the University of Nebraska launched three campus impact reports today to highlight collaborations with researchers, leaders and students from across the University of Nebraska.
Each report â University of Nebraska Medical Center, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Nebraska at Omaha â includes specific deliverables from the University of Nebraska and NSRI to Department of Defense and federal government sponsors.
Overall, NSRI has received $203 million in total awards through 134 contracts and grants since its inception as a DOD-designated University Affiliated Research Center in 2012. More than 40 NU researchers have served as principal investigators. At the time of these reports, the institute and NU had 27 active projects with sponsors.

The National Strategic Research Institute (NSRI) at the University of Nebraska helps ensure the United States' safety and preparedness against strategic threats through research and development. Established in 2012, NSRI is one of 15 University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs) designated by the U.S. Department of War.
